Raul Ybarra Juarez, 87, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in San Angelo, TX.
Raul was born April 29, 1934, in New Braunfels, Texas. He was a loving father and grandfather. Raul Juarez retired from Reece Albert, Inc., where he was a truck driver for many years. He loved truck driving, fishing and especially he loved to go watch his great grandsons Noel and Elijah Sanchez play baseball in Miles, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Delores Y. Juarez; his wife Maria N. Juarez, one daughter, Barbara Juarez; one grandson, Christopher M. Juarez, his five sisters and one brother.
He leaves behind his daughters, Barabara Gamez and husband Osiel, Carmen Palafox and husband Rudy, Vera Flores and husband Phillip, Irma Flores, and Jimmy Juarez, 20 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
The Rosary will be at 6:00pm, Monday, April 4, 2022, at Harper Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Osiel Gamez, Jr., Jacob Gamez, David Chappa, Andrew Chappa, Phillip Flores, Anthony Flores, Noel Sanchez, Jr., Elijah Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be Adrian Maldanado, Adam Flores.
A heart felt thank you to Nicole Hernandez and Alice Gonzales for their loving care of Daddy.
