Raul Leal Perez, 52, of Jalisco, Mexico, passed away on March 18, 2023, from a sudden chest pain surrounded by his close friends. Raul made his home in Los Angeles, California.

Raul Leal Perez was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by many lives he touched. His happiness was contagious and only good memories are left. His family hopes he is tending his garden in heaven. Raul, everyone you left in this world hates that you are gone but we are happy that you have reunited with those you lost. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.

Raul was born in Lo Arado, Jalisco Mexico on February 20, 1971.

Raul immigrated from Mexico to the United States at a young age. This is where he met his wife, Maria Rojas, and built a family with her. Despite his young age, he knew he wanted to build a life with her and did so. A beautiful 30 year relationship, full of love and understanding. Becoming a father was one of his greatest joys. Raul worked at a textile company for many years. He enjoyed telling stories, helping people, spending time with his loving family, and laughing. He also enjoyed watching soccer, especially team America. with his sons. You would find him spotted with bright colors and his boots on. Raul would have trouble remembering names, but wouldn't hesitate to give you one of his own. They would stick too. He had friends no matter where we went, if he didn't he would make some right there. He didn't like driving and preferred taking the bus or his wife driving. He wasn't great with technology, not having a phone for years by choice. Only until recently did he begin using a phone, with the purpose of remaining more in contact with his friends. His green thumb was not only great but generous as well. He would often share the fruits of his labor to others.
