Raul L. Rodriguez, Jr., beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, great uncle and friend to many, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, in Alice, Texas.
Born in Panama on September 16, 1959, Raul possessed a unique and independent spirit from the get-go. He was sharp witted and determined, traits that carried him through life’s challenges. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying every moment and trying new things. He had a great sense of humor that easily brought a smile to the many friends he made throughout the years. A lively soul is now at peace; Raul will be missed but never forgotten.
Raul is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Rosaura (Carlos) Rodriguez, Olivia Rodriguez, Olaya Rodriguez, and Rebecca (Jorge) Aguilar; nieces and nephew, Victoria Robles, Audrey (Matthew) Hernandez, and Jesse Aguilar; great nephew and niece, Alex Hernandez and Bella Hernandez. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunt, Alicia Moses, and numerous cousins.
Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Aida Rodriguez, and his brothers, Roel Rodriguez and Rodrigo Rodriguez.
Raul’s family will receive condolences on Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 801 S Reynolds St., Alice, TX., beginning with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass. Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Alice, TX, where Raul will be laid to rest in the peace of Christ.
