Raul Rodriguez Obituary

Raul was born in Cuba on March 6, 1962 to Raul and Isabel (Velis) Rodriguez. He came to the United States in 1965 with only the clothes on his back. His favorite employment was a maintenance mechanic for golf courses. Raul's life was extremely active. Over the years he enjoyed off-roading in trucks and Jeeps and shooting in both gun ranges and outdoors. He loved chocolates and sweets, playing Solitaire on the computer (with the TV on in the background and old-style country music. Raul loved to cook and his specialties were sweet potatoes with marshmallows, Cajun flavorings and his special Chili recipe. Most of all he adored his beloved wife Miriam and the dogs Pepper, Kiki and Ruckus.
Raul is survived by his wife Miriam Pena, his brother Robert Rodriguez, his sister Isabel Tome and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel at 1123 West Main St. in Leesburg. A visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home.
