Ray Franklin Donahoo Jr., a resident of Hoffman, Oklahoma, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.

Ray was born on May 5, 1953, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Ray Franklin Donahoo Sr. and Marjorie Wingo Donahoo. He married Tammie Denise Burney on March 13, 1987, and they shared many years together until her passing.

Ray worked as a Registered Nurse in Home Health Care, dedicating his life to helping others. He was a faithful member of Talladega Baptist Church and proudly served his country as a United States veteran, having served in both the Army and Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tammie Donahoo; and his brothers, Dustin Donahoo and Stormie Fanchier.

Ray is survived by his children: Tonya Terry of Hoffman, Oklahoma; Kimberly Donathan of Henryetta, Oklahoma; and Roger Donahoo of Aztec, New Mexico.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Mekko Donathan, Jonathan Donathan, Whitney Coplin, Dylan Terry, Dalton Terry, Destiny Hatcher, Kristen Donahoo, Alex Donahoo, Makayla Donahoo, Haley Donahoo, and Tyler Donahoo, as well as many great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include his brothers, John Young of Lake City, Florida, and James Young of Butler, Oklahoma, and his sister, Joan Tripp of Norman, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Henryetta First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dale Huckabay officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Hoffman Cemetery, under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
