Ray Durbin Obituary
He was born in Washington, PA on March 3, 1960, son of the late Halcie Dwight and Dorothy Aldean (Hughes) Durbin, Sr.
Ray was a 1978 graduate of McGuffey HS where he was a member of the band and played drums. He recently retired from Accutrex Products Inc. after 41 years of employment. Ray was an avid bowler and enjoyed drag racing and followed NHRA and NASCAR. He liked golf, dart ball and was one hell of a "Pappy". Ray loved his getaways to the Cozy Cove in the mountains where he loved the outdoors and watching the Elk, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Ray is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cheryl (Dorsey) Durbin; children, Alan (Shannon) Durbin, Christina (John Henry) Conklin, Shawn (Milene Laurine) Durbin; grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Ethan, Tyson, Emma Jane; siblings, Judy (Bruce) Kimble, John (Cathy) Durbin, Halcie (Debbie) Durbin, Jr and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday April 24, 2023 from 11 am until the time of the service at 2 pm at West Alexander United Methodist Church, 58 North Liberty Rd., West Alexander, PA.
Interment will follow at West Alexander Cemetery.
Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
