Interment will be held at 10:15 a.m., Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
Lt. Colonel Gertman will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Royal Funeral Home.
The Gertman family will receive guests from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly encourages you to contribute in Ray's memory to the Building Fund, Church Street CPCA, 228 Church Street NW, Huntsville, AL 35801.

To the family of Ray Gertman
Ray was a very nice gentleman and I have known him for a great number of years. Whenever to came to Hempstead he would always check on my family. He loved him family greatly and would always speak about his grandson. That is what stands out in my memory as he would talk about him. My family and I express our deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
