I worked with Ray when he was at NAVFAC and I have only good memories. He was always cordial and interested in doing the right thing. My condolences to his family.

MaryK, my sincere condolences to you and your family. I knew Ray from Navy OGC. Ray could be counted on to do the right thing and to do it right. That's a rare commodity. The world is diminished.

MaryK, my deepest condolences to you, Douglas and Leila. Ray was such a wonderful friend. I met Ray at Navy OGC. We go way back to my days in Singapore, when he covered for me for a month (and my clients missed him!) and we became life long friends. I really enjoyed being his colleague in Navy and sharing GW stories. His LLM thesis on federal jurisdiction in Indian reservations was fascinating and we has some very energetic discussions. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his wit, and getting together with you and Ray after he retired. I just can't believe he's gone. A big hug to you and your wonderful son and daughter. I will really miss Ray. We are all the better because we have known him.

My deepest condolences. I so regret that I did not know Ray and his family lived in Houston where my wife and I have lived since 2008 - I would have loved to have been able to renew our friendship. He was a valued colleague.

Ray
Although we lost touch as adults, I will always remember you fondly as a good friend from kindergarten through college (and beyond as I originally married your dear friend Joni). You were one of the leaders of our "pack." Along with your cousin Bruce. Fly high pal, and know that when we think of you, we smile.
Love
