Ray Benton Harris, age 59, of Bellevue, Michigan, passed away on March 24, 2026. Ray was born on February 12, 1967, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Ray Sr. and Linda Deck. He attended Battle Creek Central Public Schools and grew up with a strong connection to his community. Ray chose a career that reflected his hands-on skills and dedication, becoming a self-employed home-finish carpenter. He specialized in drywalling and painting, bringing craftsmanship and care to every project.
Ray was a very loving person who cherished his family above all else. His devotion to those he cared for was evident to everyone around him. He was married to his loving wife, Crystal, and together they shared a family with their daughter, Samantha.
Ray had many interests that showed his joyful spirit. He loved spending time outdoors with his dogs, finding peace and happiness in nature. He enjoyed watching YouTube videos and all kinds of movies. He also collected old-time antiques, a hobby that reflected his eye for beauty and history. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Following Ray's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral services.
The family is being served by the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home.
