It is with great sadness that we inform you that Ray Addis Jefferson passed away at his home in Las Vegas, NV on April 23, 2024 at the age of 55. He was best known for the love of his children and family, and a deep love of movies (especially Marvel) and sports (LA Dodgers and Green Bay Packers). His father Lawrence preceded him in death but he is survived by his children, Abraham and Aspen, their mother April, his mother, Charlotte, his two sisters, Natessha and Tanesia (Terry), 6 nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
Ray completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and worked as an independent business owner of Database Whiz Consulting, providing IT solutions for small to medium businesses for the last 25 years.
He easily attracted friends since he had a pleasant personality as well as a somewhat dry satirical sense of humor. Anyone who knew Ray would have inevitably been invited to one of his epic parties, especially in his early years. His love of old school hip-hop, r&b, and pop was highly evident in his music choices during those celebrations. He also loved his dogs – Rock and Junior who passed away and Roxy who now lives with his children.
Ray will be tremendously missed but we are forever grateful for having him in our lives. May his soul rest in peace.
