Ray Lindy Michener, Jr., 76, of Berrien Springs passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2025 at his home in the care of his wife.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church St., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Rev. Dr. Douglas Krengel officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the church. Final resting place will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church Handbell Choir. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Ray was born on October 25, 1948 in Evanston, IL the son of the late Ray and Irene (Stauner) Michener, Sr. He served in the United States Army. On August 7, 1992 he married the former Kathy Oldenburg. Ray was a mechanic and owned his own business in Chicago for several years.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Kathy; five children: Trisha (Kirk) Kaczor, Debbie Nyhus, Susie Cavaliero, Kenneth Michener, and Tom Michener; two grandchildren: Kyle Kaczor and Arianna Kaplinski; two sisters: Jeana Willming and Betty (William) Langschied; and three brothers: Don (Darlene) Michener, Greg Michener, and John Michener.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
