Ray Orndorff Obituary


Ray Jennings Orndorff, 67, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 6:00pm, at St. Luke Brethren Church. Pastor Freddie Helsley will officiate.

Mr. Orndorff was born April 28, 1957, in Woodstock, VA, son of the late Arthur James and Katherine Geraldine Racey Orndorff. He worked as a machine operator for Dysart's Construction and was a member of St. Luke Brethren Church.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Racey.

Ray is survived by his girlfriend, Michelle Borden; his children, Chris Orndorff (Michelle Stultz), Christa Orndorff, Charles Orndorff (Holly Bunch); spouse, Tracey Rudolph Orndorff; sister, Anna Ruffner (Randy); grandchildren, Jaxson Orndorff, Addison Orndorff, Peyton Sager, Rowan Griffith, Mattilyn Griffith, and Sawyer Orndorff.

Ray enjoyed fishing, boating, going to the races, enjoying the beach, hanging out with family and friends, and having a good time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Valley Funeral Service for Ray's funeral expenses, 14116 S. Middle Rd. Edinburg, VA 22824.
