Ray Santos

I was a student at city College, took Latin band multiple times and his class on the history of Latin jazz. He was tough, but in the best way, he pushed you and made you a better musician. Never forget the day I graduated, he had some of his friends as ringers in our band and when he introduced me to one of them, he said “this is Mr. Trust. I yelled at him For two years, until I didn’t anymore.” In other words, I finally got it, I finally felt the rhythms. RIP Maestro!!!
