Ray Dean Sauls, 69, of Moultrie, passed away on November 10, 2025, at Park Regency of Legacy Village.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Moultrie, with Reverend Jim Horne officiating. Interment will follow at Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. Jamie Allison, Tyler Beasley, Bill Kreschollek, Heath Patterson, Turner Sauls, and Blake Spradley will serve as pallbearers. Ray Beasley, Josh Jones, Pat Patterson, Chris Ponder, Jerry Shiver, and Mike Willis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home.
Born on May 2, 1956, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Virlyn Russell Sauls and Laverne Tompkins Sauls. Mr. Sauls was a John Deere field service technician at Lasseter Tractor Company. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Sauls is survived by his brothers, Randall Eugene Sauls of Scooterville, Rodney Emerson of Rebecca, and Russell Laverne Sauls (Jennifer) of Sumner; sisters, Carol Ann Sauls Taft (Brian) of Albany and Cindy Elizabeth Sauls Beggs (Allen) of Omega; nieces and nephews, Ashley Ring (Chris), Zack Ring, Anna Kate Ring of Tifton, Turner Sauls (Stephanie), Emilyn Willis, Ellasyn Gandy, Remy Sauls, Rafe Sauls, Renley Sauls of Scooterville, Lyla Louise Taft, Shannon Tyler Taft, Olivia Marie Taft, and Rebecca Rose Taft of Albany; and a great nephew, Amos Moses Waters.
