Ray P. Schlaseman, Sr., 87, died Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Myerstown Nursing & Rehab. He was son to the late Lester and Mary Schlaseman. Ray worked as a driver of trucks for Leffler Energy, motor coaches, school buses, and limousines. He owned Ray's Catering Service for 45 years. Ray is survived by son Ray P. Schlaseman, Jr.; twin sister Raeanna M. (Schlaseman) Grumbine; former wife Ethel (Shamber) Schlaseman; and three nephews and one niece. A public viewing for Mr. Ray Schlaseman will be held on February 4, 2026, at Christman's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at Zion Gosherts United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Ray's name to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Mt. Zion Community Fire Company, 1520 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon, PA 17046.
