Ray Thomas “Tom” Schulte, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the age of 94 years old. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, the late Rose Marie Schulte (nee Lederer). Ray is survived by his children, Steve (Peggy) Schulte, Mary Schulte, Lisa (Andy) Bamforth and Tom (Veronica Nester) Schulte; grandchildren, Kathy (Paul) Orosz, Lauren (Jordan) Addington, Emily (Rob) Widner and Chris Bamforth; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Mina, Everett, Owen, Waylon, Wyatt and Wells; Longtime companion, Barbara Lewin.
Tom loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was his tradition to give each one a pat on the head when they came to visit. He enjoyed watching sports and old movies on his big screen TV. He liked watching Reds games and was a long-suffering Bengals fan. He was active until recent years and enjoyed exercising, golf, tennis, and biking. Tom liked to travel early in his retirement and spent winter months in Florida. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Visitation will be Friday, June 6th from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church 2409 Dixie Hwy. Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to St. Elizabeth Hospice c/o The St. Elizabeth Foundation 1 Medical Village Dr. Edgewood, KY 41017.
