Ray U. Tucker, 80 of Fremont passed away on November 7, 2023. He was born on April 30, 1943 to the late Charles Ulus and Mary (Johnson) Tucker in Monterey, TN.
Ray worked as a truck driver with Nickles Bakery for 22 1/2 years until his retirement in 1999. He loved traveling to the Smoky Mountains and going "home".
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Randall (Tana) Tucker Sr. of Parma, Michael (Sue) Tucker of Oak Harbor, and Tony (Karen) Tucker of Helena; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents Charles U. and Mary (Johnson) Tucker; children, Stevie Charles Tucker and Rita Allen; brothers, Freddy Tucker and Robert Tucker; and ex-wife, Thelma Rhea McMillen.
Visitation for Ray will be held on Monday, November 13 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. Funeral services will be held the following day, Tuesday, November 14 beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
Donations in Ray's name may be made to his family, in care of his son, Tony.
