Melody and Family,
Suzanne and I were blessed when we ran into and talked with your father last Summer at the Rockingham County Fair. He was always a fun person to be around. We're sorry to hear of your loss, but rejoice in that his last breath on earth was his first in Glory!

So sorry to hear of his passing away. My sister , mother and I were all very fond
of him as was my father , Clifford Andes , who was 1st cousin to him. We tried to
come over at least once every year to have lunch with him and always enjoyed his
company. I'm sure he will be missed greatly by everyone in the community.

Mr. Ray and we developed a special friendship while exercising at the RMH Wellness Center. During his employment years he learned to know some of our relatives and we shared mutual memories of these persons. His love for Jesus and his wife was so evident, and he encouraged all of us to live for Him every day. What a fine man and a true friend he was. We will miss him so much.

Our sympathies,

He will be missed. Karen and I always enjoyed the reunions and the time we could talk to him. He called for many years to remind us the reunions were coming up and when and where so he could see us. He always made sure to grab Karen and give her a big hug when he saw her, regardless of whether I said it was OK or not. That was just him. I never visited with him or saw him that he couldn't be seriously considering the facts of life and concern for your soul one moment, then turn around laughing and telling a joke the next. I feel good knowing that he is with Aunt Jean again. I'm sure they are laughing together and she still can't make him slow down and stop carrying on.

With our love to all the immediate family,
Phillip, Karen and Hope Andes
