Mrs. Rayma Jo "Jody" Smith

Rayma Jo 'Jody' Smith, 82, of California, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Valley Park West California, Missouri. She was born on January 07, 1935 in Columbia, Missouri to William and Lula Imogene (Hill) Rule both of whom preceded her in death. On August 24, 1956 Jody was married to Harold Dean Smith, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2013. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She owned and operated Jody's Ceramics in California for many years. She was a woman of many talents including oil painting, jewelry making, playing the keyboard and guitar, songwriting, singing, and cooking. Jody is survived by three daughters, Kella Ettinger (Bill) of Naples, FL, Deana Strein (Dennis) of Jamestown, and Nancy McCloud of Jefferson City; 9 grandchildren, Shane Masters, Heather Masters, David Ettinger, Erica Millitello, Sara Green, Bethany Harris, Cali Lane, Nanette Swinskey and Sydney Kaitlyn; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Masters; 2 brothers and a sister.
