Raymond Beard

Mr. Raymond David Beard, age 74, a resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Horizon Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating and Keith Baker to speak. Burial will follow in Adkison Cemetery in Santa Fe. Blake Mote, Evan Mote, Peyton Wilhelm, Derrick Mote, Nate Ashworth and Gavin Ashworth to serve as pallbearers. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

Born on June 11, 1951, in Williamson Co to the late Monk and Nellie Scott. Raymond has spent most of his career working in electric and HVAC. Raymond was a devoted father, hardworking man who led by example, teaching his family the value of hard work and finding happiness in tending to his yard.

He is survived by his son, David (Patty) Beard; stepsons, Cory (Michelle) Ashworth and Josh (Leah) Ashworth; grandchildren, Breanna Beard, Ashley (Trip) Walker, Abigail, Nathan, Annabelle and Gavin Ashworth, Kayla Middlebrooks and Kylee Reed; brother, Hervie Beard; sisters, Michelle and Nancy Scott and loving nieces, Nicole, Kimberly, Lisa and Christie. Raymond is preceded in death by his brother, Randall “Scoot” Scott.
