Raymond John Berger III, Age 55 of Cottage Grove, MN passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2025.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 30 years Christine Berger; children Shane (Amanda) Berger and Samantha Berger; grandchildren Neveah and Scarlett Berger; brothers Mark Theis and Micheal (Debbie) Theis and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Rita Berger.
Raymond was born March 5th, 1969 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Raymond and Rita (Gasper) Berger. Raymond was united in marriage to the love of his life Christine Pruden on November 3rd, 1995.
Raymond was a very dedicated employee, always wanting to help and boost morale. He was with ProSource for 25 years, and loved his coworkers like they were family. He won the legacy award, being acknowledged for being an integral part of the company, and setting high standards for all. His coworkers always said they were inspired to meet his standards, and there was a saying everyone would say in tough times or when making tough decisions, "What would Ray do".
Raymond was a man of simple joys, spending countless hours fishing, camping, sitting around a bonfire, and spending time with family and friends. He loved to cook and was deemed a grill master by family and friends. He took pride in preparing meals for loved ones, always making time to create special moments with those around him. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with them, whether it was at home, on the water, or gathered around a campfire. His love for his family and friends was unconditional. All ages were drawn to his playful nature.
Raymond will be remembered for his warmth, his sense of humor, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 11am - 2pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at KoK Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S.; Cottage Grove, MN.
