Raymond DiGiovanni, age 65 of Lynnfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 5 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Boston on March 9, 1960, and was the son of the late Edward and Antonetta (Mercuri) DiGiovanni.
Raymond was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. He was the proud owner and President of Hub Food Corporation. He loved cooking, horse racing, his children and family, taking his family out to dinner and fine dining. He loved to host back yard barbeques, holidays, and cared so much about others. He loved his parents dearly, and his family has found peace knowing that he is reunited with his beloved mother.
He was the beloved husband of Rene (Lessard) DiGiovanni. He was the loving father of Toni and Raymond Jr., and father figure to James. He was the brother to Maria Feola, Bernadette Carroll, Edward DiGiovanni and his late wife Christine, Lisa DiGiovanni, Patricia Quiroga and her husband Ricardo, Joanne Casaletto and her husband Daniel. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Wednesday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Willow Cemetery, Summer St. Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
