Raymond D. Earl, aged 65, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, in Ogden, Utah, after a brief illness.
Born on February 25, 1960, in Ogden, Utah, Ray spent his youth playing sports, which continued in high school. He worked as a machinist for most of his career, taking pride in his craftsmanship and attention to detail.
In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins, antique photography equipment, tools, and firearms. He spent hours tinkering and fixing things — always curious about how things worked.
He shared 43 years of marriage with Julianne Jones Earl and together, they built a family and many lasting memories.
Ray is survived by his children, Allison Goodworth (Warren), Rayanne Reisner (Luke), Alex Earl (Kaylie) and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and brother and whom he missed dearly.
In keeping with Ray’s wishes, a small open house where family and friends can remember him and offer their condolences to his family will be held on April 19, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Community Center at Lindquist’s Office Building, 3434 Washington Blvd.
