Raymond Christian Eby

Raymond Christian Eby passed away at the age of 92, surrounded by family, on December 04, 2025 after a brief illness. He was a long time resident of Sellersville, FL and a 1950 graduate of W. S. Neal high school in Brewton, Alabama.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally (just a few days before their 69th anniversary), his brother Amos, his children, Joseph, David Luke, and Priscilla, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Raissa and Jennifer, and special friends, Veranna and Josiah Robinson.

Before moving back to Sellersville in 1975, the family served as missionaries in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Honduras, including being present during the Cuban Revolution in 1960. He spent his years helping people as well as being a carpenter and a handyman. He retired in 2000.

Raymond was much loved by his family and community. In lieu of flowers, he has requested that you donate to your favorite charity.

Visitation is scheduled for 10:00am on Tuesday, December 09, at Bethel Community Mennonite Church, in the Bethel Community at 4100 Fuqua Road, Brewton, AL, followed by a fellowship meal and time of sharing. Everyone is invited to bring testimonies, songs, and a potluck dish (optional).
