Service

Saturday, January 10th at 11am at Greendale Community Church in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

Raymond John Goral Jr., 78, of Westerville, Ohio, passed peacefully in his sleep on November 11, 2025.
Always an educator, he most recently served as a Professor of Psychology at Columbus State, though his heart never let go of his roles as Teacher, Coach, and Director of Guidance at Milwaukee Trade & Technical High School - with his summers managing the Greendale Village Club & teaching/coaching little swimmers.
Ray is survived by his wife Cynthia Goral (nee Russell); children: Greg, Brian, Natalia, Holly, Jim, Jenny, four amazing grandchildren, and a sister, Terry. He was preceded by his brother Jack, sister Mary, and loving German Shepherd, Max.
A family-only service will be held locally in Genoa Township in coming days.
A public memorial service is being planned for Saturday, January 10th at 11am at Greendale Community Church in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

I remember Coach Goral from Milwaukee Trade and Tech. He was a respected coach, teacher and guidance counselor. Rest in peace coach!

Ray and I used to have dinner every Wednesday night in Milwaukee WI before he moved to Westerville. I'm very sorry to hear of his departure and wish his family the very best. He was a great friend and a great man!
