Raymond Heideman Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 16, 2025.
Raymond "Skip" Heideman II, 76, passed away early December 15th after a long battle with a multitude of health issues.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Sally; his son, Chris (Jenny); and his treasured grandchildren, Zoe and Owen, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Nancy, Mary (Jeff), and Peggy; and his nieces Janell (John & Mya), Christa (Liam), Katie & Michelle (Noah & Winnie), along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Rita, and his brother, John.
A proud Wisconsin sports fan, Ray loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Ray spent several years coaching Football and Girls Basketball at Tremper High School. Along with coaching his son's baseball teams. In his youth Ray was a world champion log roller along with his father and brother.
He was a longtime employee of the Kenosha Unified School District, where he dedicated many years of service, including serving as both a NEA Director and Local association president. Ray was a fierce advocate for educators' rights and believed deeply in supporting those who devote their lives to teaching and helping students.
Above all, Ray loved spending time with his family. He took great joy in encouraging them, helping them grow, and supporting whatever they were working on. In his younger years, he especially enjoyed playing golf with Sally and Chris, creating memories that his family will always cherish.
Raymond will be remembered for his dedication, his loyalty, and his unwavering love for his family and community.

Sally, I am so sorry to hear about Ray. I have very fond memories of him - especially when we would come to your house for lunch on PD days and he would grill burgers for us! He was a wonderful human! Love and Prayers for you and your family.
