Raymond Leroy Hendrickson, Sr.

Oakland - Raymond Leroy Hendrickson, Sr., of Oakland, Arkansas, passed away January 31, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. He was born August 13, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Louise Lamb Hendrickson. He married Jeanette Wilson on December 28, 1974, in Des Moines, Iowa and worked as a Shipping and Receiving Foreman for Gibson Homans for 32 years. Raymond lived in Oakland since moving from Des Moines, Iowa upon his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church in Oakland. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Jeanette Hendrickson of Oakland, AR; five sons, Gregory (Trisha) Stone, of Des Moines, IA, Kenneth (Carol) Stone, Sr., of Des Moines, IA, John Stone, of Las Vegas, NV, Robert (Shelli) Stone, of Des Moines, IA and Raymond (Valerie) Hendrickson, Jr. of Versailles, MO; 18 grandchildren, Gresha, Leanna, Breanna, Ryan, Tyler, Amber, Amy, Kenny Jr., David, Destiny, Robert Jr, Morgan, Rachael, Brandon and Austin and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service for Raymond will be 10:00 am, Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Hilltop Baptist Church in Oakland, AR with Pastor Joel Holth officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Stone, Jr., Brandon Hendrickson, Austin Hendrickson, Arthur Granville, Kenneth Stone, Sr., Joe Gerk and Robert Stone. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
