My condolences. Dr. Johnson took care of me for almost 40 years and also looked after my son before he grew up and moved away. I second all the nice things said by other patients as they are consistent with my experiences with Dr. Johnson.

I just learned of Dr Johnson's passing through a letter received on August 16 2019, I was initially shocked, and then immediately greatly saddened and my heart was broken. He has been my primary care doctor for over 30 years. He was a good man who would always would take the time and patience to answer any of my questions. He genuinely cared about each of his patient's health care. God Bless his family and friends and keeping them in my prayers.

I was a patient of Dr Johnson's for almost 40 yrs. he took very good care of me. I thought of him more as a friend than a doctor. I could discuss anything with him. I highly respected him, and will miss him very much. Rest in peace dear doctor/friend.

Ray was a good friend as well as my physician; he helped me thru tough times with alcoholism and is one of the few people that believe truely helped me get sober. Ray will be missed!

I just learned of Dr. Johnson's passing and am heartbroken for his family, all of his patients, and co-workers .Dr. Johnson was our family Dr. for over 35 years and was the most compassionate and caring Dr. i have ever known. He will be missed!

So sad to hear about Dr. Johnson. I found out after the visitation was over and so sorry that I didn't attend to express my condolences. Not only has he been my doctor since I was born, he was a friend of my parents and also their physician. Dealing with me over the years has probably not always been the easiest thing to do, but, he always took the time to listen and I will never find another doctor so compassionate and understanding. He will be truly missed by all because he had the best bedside manner of any physician ever!!!

We were heartbroken when we heard of Ray's passing. We got to know him and Cheryl very well via the BU Knights basketball team, including home games, traveling to road games, and attending tapings of the Scott Davenport Show. We will miss all those times, and extend our deepest sympathy to Cheryl and the family.

My memories of Ray go all the way back to our time at Bellarmine. He was such a classy guy with a gentle smile and warm personality. Through the years I would run into him at various events and we would catch-up. Our world is better because of Ray. May he live in the peace of Christ.

Dr. J was my parents doc and mine and my husband. Somewhere around 30 years. He was so gracious and caring through my parents deaths. I am so sorry to hear this. Dr. J told me many times, Herman died far too young at 71. Dr J, a wonderful man gone too soon at 71. Prayers for the family.
