Raymond Jojola, 96, of Evans, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, in Evans. He was born in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, to Vicente and Carmen (Trujillo) Jojola.
Raymond lived a long and full life marked by hard work, creativity, and joy. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the guitar, trumpet, and harmonica. He was also a gifted mechanic who could bring new life to old cars, restoring treasures such as a 1929 Ford Model A and a 1959 Ford Ranchero.
For many years, Raymond worked in the concrete industry, where he took pride in his strength and dedication to providing for his family. Outside of work, he had a knack for craftsmanship. He loved woodworking, refurbishing old furniture, and giving forgotten items a second life.
Raymond also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He looked forward to trips to the casino, especially playing the penny slots, and loved browsing garage sales and the Denver flea market.
He will be remembered as a hardworking man with many talents, whose hands could create music, restore cars, and shape wood into something beautiful.
He is survived by his children, Connie (Raymond) Delagado, Dwayne (Robin) Jojola, Victor Jojola, Paul (Kay) Jojola, Donna (Stephen) Voegtle; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sister, Lupe Hernandez and a large extended family and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Clara; Daughter-in-law, Lisa Jojola; his parents; grandson, Ryan Jojola; siblings, Reynaldo, Manuel, Arthur, Mary, and Angie.
