Raymond Kastelic

83, of Lower Burrell, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born on May 12, 1942 to the late John and Mildred Stanovich Kastelic and had been a life long resident of the local area. He married the late Isabel Marie Usher Kastelic on June 13, 1964.

Mr. Kastelic worked as a lab technician and welder at Alcoa for 35 years. He also repaired and installed HVAC for his own company, Ray's Air Conditioning and Heating. He was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, tinkering and fixing things, eating, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise (Dr. Lawrence) York of Lower Burrell, grandchildren Krista York, Alaina (Damon) Greenwald, Nicholas, Lily, Lukas, and Olivia Kastelic, great grandson Noah, daughter-in-law Lisa Kastelic of Upper Burrell Twp., sister-in-law Patricia Kastelic of Plum, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death his son, Raymond L. Kastelic, brothers Donald Sr., Richard, and John Kastelic, and sister-in-law Patricia Kastelic.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Rd. at Alder St. where Prayers of Transfer will be said Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Mount St. Peter Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
