1929 - 2025
EAST LONGMEADOW
Raymond E. Kemple, 96, passed away on June 20, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on March 19, 1929, he was the son of the late James B. and Mabel (Matthews) Kemple. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
For many years, Raymond was employed as a Supervisor at New England Telephone Company. He was also a former member of the Elks Lodge.
Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Patricia A. (Sheehan) Kemple who passed away on May 12, 2020. To cherish his memory, he leaves many extended family members and friends including members of the Johnson, Lupi, Kemple and Sheehan families.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9 – 10 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA followed by a service at 10 AM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA.
