In St. Peter School and throughout High School, Ray was my Best friend. Living on Livingston Ave. I called Ray the day I received my NY State drivers license. Because I never drove a car alone, I asked him to walk two blocks to my house so we could take a ride in my '36 Chevy jalopy. He did.
I'll always remember his Larry Jansen baseball glove...our days paddling on the Hudson or his encouragement for me to swim in "deep water" in the Hudson.
Ray was a great guy and a greater friend...I miss him already.
Sleep well Ray,
