Raymond Leicht Obituary
COHOES - Raymond Frederick Leicht, 70, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
Born August 15, 1955, in Albany, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Ann Leicht. Ray graduated from Vincentian Institute and Hudson Valley Community College. After a long career in banking, he went on to work as a produce manager at Price Chopper.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Barbara; brothers-in-law, Lou and Mark; sister-in-law, Elsie; in-laws, Mariann and Carl; and Mamere and Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; and three sons, Gregory, Bryan (Lindsay) and Tyler. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Bill Leicht (Dottie), Nancy Plaat, Mary McDonnell (Mark), Ken Leicht (Mitzi), Clare Carroll, Laura Hands (Chris), and Ann DiLillo (Dan). Also, by his brothers, and sisters-in-law, Stuart Bridges, Becca Bridges, Jim Bridges (Michele) and James Grobe. Finally, by his many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Friends may call Saturday, November 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a celebration of Raymond's life to immediately follow at 4:00 p.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet.
Donations in his name may be made to either the American Cancer Society or The Food Pantries for the Capital District.
