I´ll never forget the first time meeting Don, he asked if he should stand, with that wry smile. He and Sandra took me in as a new teacher on the Rez. Then when Tracy and I were lost newlyweds, they embraced us as their own. Many of my favorite memories early in our marriage were of us relaxing in the Levins´ backyard, barbecuing "Wicker´s Chicken", taste testing some of Don´s home brews, and laughing and smiling-a lot! Everyone was welcome there as grace overflowed. Don and Sandra were a one of a kind couple-lively, eccentric, wise, loving, graceful, and never boring. God put them in our lives at the perfect time.
We are so thankful for Don´s life and look forward to hanging out with him in the next life, maybe over a glass of heavenly mead.
Much love to Sandra and the family,
Jesse and Tracy Crane
