On the morning of November 28, 2025 Raymond Bruce Herman Mairose (Bruce) passed away peacefully at the age of 92 in his home with his devoted wife Linda by his side. Bruce was born to the late Herman and Marie Mairose on December 1, 1932. He was the beloved husband to Linda Carol Mairose; cherished father to his daughters Melanie Susan Cox (husband Michael), Pamela Gail Alban (husband Steven), Linda Lee Taormino (husband Joseph) Sandy Ann Mays (late husband Steve), and son Randy William Mays; dear brother of Joyce Lake and her late husband William, Janice Lane and her late husband Robert, Darla Marie Smith and her husband Paul, and Darl Wayne Mairose. He was preceded in death by his sons Jonathon Bradley Mairose, Rodney Bruce Mairose, and Michael Craig Mairose. He also leaves behind many loving family members including 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was a lifelong resident of Middle River, Maryland and worked as a welder until he retired in 1998. Bruce loved watching the Orioles and Ravens games. In his younger days he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and going to horse races. He loved his dogs and enjoyed walking with them. German food was among his favorites. Bruce always had a joke to share. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Friends may call at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Raymond Bruce Herman Mairose and his three sons.
