Raymond McClimans Obituary
Tuesday January 21, 2025 at the Continuing Healthcare of Niles. He was born
in Greenville, Pennsylvania on January 27, 1929 the son of Raymond C. and
Augustine (Germann) McClimans Sr. and lived most of his life in this
community.
Raymond honorably served in the United States Navy. He
retired in 1994 after working 30 years at Girard Machine Corp. and attended
the Unity Church Center in Liberty. Ray was a member of the Vienna Fish
and Game Association, the Amateur Radio League and the North Carolina
Beach Buggy Association. An avid reader, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing,
camping and traveling.
Raymond is survived by three children, Sandra (Leonard) Lauth of Niles,
Sherry (David) Davis of Newton Falls, Eric McClimans of Terre Haute,
Indiana; son-in-law William Aley of Youngstown; 20 grandchildren; 20 great
grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother, Neal McClimans of West
Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alyce (Pitts) McClimans whom he
married on March 26, 1946 and who died on November 23, 2016; daughter,
Rhonda Aley; brothers, Paul McClimans, Robert McClimans, James Crawford
and sister Leona McClimans.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the
Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the
funeral home. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery in Warren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Buckeye Hospice.
