Raymond F. Mensh, 85, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, under the care of hospice and his family.

Ray was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Morris and Bessie Mensh, and later moved to Atlantic City when he was in high school. He was the husband of the late Judy Yankelowitz-Mensh for 64 years. After he graduated, he served his country in the United States Army for two years. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked as a car salesman for Scribner and Lewis. He went on to own and operate Sacks Shoes in downtown Bridgeton for 25 years. After retirement, he went back to college at Rowan University and then obtained his Master's Degree from Wilmington University. After obtaining his Master's, he worked for the Delaware State Police in financial crimes, then taught computer science at Cumberland County College, and also worked at Brickworks Dental as the office manager alongside of his son, Dr. Mark Mensh.

Ray loved to work and stay busy; he flew airplanes, traveled with his wife, played cards, added to his clock collection, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved helping people in any way that he could. He was a member of the Beth Israel Congregation in Vineland, NJ.

Ray is survived by his son, Dr. Mark Mensh (Traci); grandson, Evan Mensh; step-grandchildren, Jamie and Nicholas Brady; and a brother, Norman Mensh. He was preceded in death by; wife, Judy Yankelowitz-Mensh; parents, Morris and Bessie Mensh; and a brother, Herbert Mensh.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 1 p.m. at Beth Abraham Memorial Park, 815 Vineland Ave, Deerfield Twp. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
