Raymond W. "Dick" Mong, 75, of Eau Claire, passed away while in the loving presence of his family on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 20, 1950, in Grove City, he was a son of the late Ralph Isaac Mong, Sr. and Ruth Gearhart Mong.

Dick was a manager at Hunter Truck, where he had been employed for 57 years.

A Mason, he was a member of Parker Allegheny Canby Lodge 521 F & AM. He also served on the board of Peterbilt Body Shop Council – North America.

He is survived by one daughter, Amy (Ryan) McKivigan, of Butler; three grandchildren, Athena (Jacob) Fowler, whom Dick and his late wife, Paige, raised, of Portersville, Ireland McKivigan, of Butler, and Donovan McKivigan, of Butler; two great-grandchildren, Luka Fowler and Liam Fowler; and one sister, Gaylene (Brian) Hillard, of Cherry Valley.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paige Allen Mong, whom he married May 24, 1969, and who passed away Oct. 3, 2022; two daughters, Glori Mong, who tragically passed away Sept. 9, 1983; and Brandy Mong, who tragically passed away March 22, 2023; one sister, Sharon Lowers; and one brother, Ralph I. "Sonny" Mong, Jr.

The Mong family extends its sincere thanks to the staff of Butler Memorial Hospital, Concordia at Cabot, and Newhaven Court at Clearview, and to Dick's many friends and relatives who surrounded him with love and care.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home Downtown (formerly Geibel Funeral Home), 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, on Sunday, Jan. 4, from 12 noon until 2 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at Anna Marie's Winery and Café, 790 East Butler Rd., East Butler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Raymond W. "Dick" Mong to Emlenton Area Ambulance, 511 Main St., P.O. Box 346, Emlenton, PA 16373, or to Eau Claire Volunteer Fire Department, 137 N. Washington St., Eau Claire, PA 16030.

Burial in Eau Claire Cemetery will be private.
