Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hightower Funeral Home - Bremen on Mar. 11, 2026.
Mr. Raymond Mark Morris, age 81, of Bremen passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 17, 1944, Raymond was the proud son of the late Eugene and Virginia Morris. A hardworking and dedicated man, Raymond spent many years as a manager with BellSouth, later AT&T, where he built a respected career and many lasting friendships.

Raymond was also a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served his country with honor. He was Baptist by faith and lived a life centered around family and service.

Above all else, Raymond loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured every moment spent with those he loved most.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Dodd Morris; his children, Christy Vaughan (Troy) and Alia Franklin (Jason); their beloved fur baby, Harley; his sisters, Jayne Hall and Glenda Martin; five grandchildren, Tatum Morgan, Tanner Morgan, Dylan Franklin, Preston Franklin, and Nate Franklin; and one great-grandson, Azriel Clifton.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Raymond Mark Morris will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2 p.m. until the service hour.

Raymond will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who had the privilege of loving him.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Raymond's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
