Chris and I are deeply saddened to hear of Ray´s passing. He was a good man, by any measure!

I can recall Ray as a contemplative individual, thinking before he spoke!

Ray, my dad, Ed and I shared a great passion for fishing, whether it be smelt fishing in Lake Michigan, white bass fishing in the Wolf River or fishing for anything that would bite in Frazee, MN.

The annual Christmas Eve party with the Nitzki´s, Mayer´s and Kazmier´s remains among the fondest memories of my childhood.

Our years together on Peoria Street was the foundation for a life long friendship, and that´s among the most beautiful things in life!

May the Lord be kind and merciful to Ray!
