It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond A. Noble, affectionately known as "Ray", on September 23, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Springfield, OH, to the late Harold and Martha (nee Hafertepen) Noble. Ray grew up immersed in the world of diving and swimming, spending countless summers at Miami Hills Swim Club, where his family were charter members since its inception in 1963. It was there that he discovered his lifelong passion for the sport that would define much of his life.

After graduating from high school, Ray pursued various roles in factory work and the home building trade, all while nurturing his love for diving. His talents led him to Marshall University, where he not only competed as a diver but also served as an assistant coach for the diving team. After his time at Marshall, Ray returned to the home building trade, honing his skills and knowledge across all aspects of construction.

In 1984, Ray became a vital part of the Indian Hill Schools maintenance department, a role that combined his work ethic and dedication to the community. His influence extended far beyond maintenance, as he took on the role of diving coach, shaping the lives of countless young athletes across the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. His passion culminated in the establishment of Cincinnati Eastside Diving, a diving club that inspired many to embrace the sport. Ray's coaching legacy was further solidified during his tenure with Dive Cincinnati, where he connected with distinguished coaches and divers from around the globe.

After 29 years of unwavering service at Indian Hill Schools, Ray retired in 2012. However, his spirit remained unyielded, as he continued to coach high school divers, leading many to championships and acclaim, including three students who competed at the Olympic Diving Trials in 1992, 2008, and 2020. His extraordinary contributions to the sport earned him recognition from the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the United States Professional Diving Coaches Association at the national level.

Beyond his remarkable coaching career, Ray was devoted to his family, including his son, daughter, and his two cherished grandchildren. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion at the Milford Post 450 and took great joy in fishing and camping at The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, which he lovingly considered his home away from home.

Raymond Albert Noble's life was defined by his kindness, dedication, and passion for nurturing the next generation. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate to know him.

Ray was the loving father of Ryan Noble and Casey (Nicholas Paige) Noble; Cherished grandpa of Brandon Paige and Olivia Noble; Dear brother of Casey Noble and Jackie Gut.
