Raymond Novak Obituary

Raymond Edward Novak
Raymond (Ray) Novak, 80, of Woodbridge, a former Hamden resident, passed away peacefully on November 11th. He was born in New Haven on June 13, 1945, to the late Frank and Tessie Novak and was predeceased by a sister, Loretta Milano. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Rohal) Novak of Woodbridge; his daughter Patricia Novak of Norwalk; his son and wife Edward and Danielle Novak of Acton, MA; and his two grandson, William and Wyatt. Ray was a devoted family man, providing them with every opportunity that he could. He was quick to strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone. He was an avid photographer, enjoyed his garden, and spent lots of time outdoors in the summer. Ray graduated from Quinnipiac and later from the University of New Haven with an MBA. He had an amazing 37-year career at Yale University. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 18 from 9:00 to 10:30 at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Avenue in Hamden at 11:00. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Hamden.
