Raymond (Ramon) B. Martinez
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, our beloved brother, uncle, son, and friend, Raymond (Ramon) B. Martinez, passed away after courageously battling a long illness.
Ramon was born on December 4, 1945. A dedicated patriot, he served in the New Mexico Air National Guard, including a tour in Korea. Following his military service, he had a distinguished career as an Accountant, working at Los Alamos National Laboratory, White Sands Missile Range, and Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) before retiring.
A kind and giving soul, Ramon was always ready to help out whenever he could. He had a great passion for gardening, especially his roses, grapes, and fruit trees. He loved sharing his bountiful harvests—especially his peaches and apricots—with his neighbors, family, and friends.
Raymond is survived by his three brothers, Benny (and wife, Berna), Daniel (and wife, Eleanor), and Victor (and partner, Kathy). He is also fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
