Raymond Reynolds

Raymond was not only my patient but more so my friend! I met him a couple years back and since then, when he visits the clinic, the only time another nurse would work him up was whenever I'm off. We would chat and laugh on the phone and he loved when I shared (Jamacian) recipes, mostly he enjoys my oxtail and rice and peas. The day he left the clinic, as the paramedics wheeled him out, he said, "You know I love you right?" I responded, I love you too giant! I tried calling him later that day and the next without a response, left messages...and.. I dreaded the worse... Sleep on my friend, look out for my son ... You were a giant of a beautiful soul, I will always cherish these special beads... love ya!
