This picture is exactly how we remember Ray - he always had the biggest, most joyful smile in the world! Ray was always interested in others and although he was personally humble - a conversation with him could get very lively! Then he would come out with a big laugh because he often teased!!
Ray was not only full of curiosity about the polymer area of study, but he was an excellent researcher with the ability to apply new approaches to old problems. He had a very good mind and was always helpful and kind to colleagues and friends.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Judy and to all his family. He was a very wonderful person who will be missed.

My condolences to Judy and to Ray's family. He was so proud of his nieces and nephews. Ray was my direct supervisor at Sohio's Warrensville Research Center. We worked together for years and became friends. He was gentle, smart and a good mentor. Made wonderful flower arrangements from his owe garden; bought us fresh vegetables; and delicious apples. And got a few patents along the way. Attached Is a photo of a party in Ray's backyard in the 1970s.
You will be remembered for your good works

Our condolences to Raymond's family and friends. We're very sorry for your loss. While we didn't talk often, Raymond never missed saying hello when we would cross paths during our daily routines in Richmond Heights.

Raymond and I spent many years working together at standard oil, later BP oil. He has been a large part of my life for 45 years. We spent our December's in Hawaii, our March's in sunny Florida and the fall at every Ohio State Football home games.
He will be greatly missed, he was my sweetie. Until we meet again, I love you Raymond.

Raymond has been a large part of my life for 45 years. We both worked together at Standard oil at the research lab in Warrensville heights, Oh. He always knew what was going on and where we should put our efforts. We shared a love of gardening and spent Beautiful Decembers in Hawaii and Marchs in Florida.
We made a lot of memories and he will always be my sweetie. I will love him forever until we meet again.

Raymond has been a big part of our lives For a long time. Ray & Judy have been like family to us. He was a great cook and the best pie baker. His pumpkin pies were an annual fall dessert that we all looked forward to. He was an avid Gardner and shared many of his gardening secrets with us. He was our friend and will be greatly missed.
