I moved to Croton-onHudson when I was 5 years old in 1958. We moved from Queens, NY to our house was in Riverbank (Wolf Rd.) up the street from your store at the top of Soap Hill.
Being from the city, my parents would often have us walk to your store for milk, eggs, etc.
Goomba and his wife were always good to us and your store always brought back a bit of the city.
Our prayers and thoughts. He was a good man.
God Bless.
