Raymonde HEADED the 72nd Street Lycée: Efficiently and Gracefully, even and maybe more when facing difficulties.

I did not know Raymonde very well at the Lycee but always heard wonderful things about her. I do remember her smile- it was hard to miss!
My deepest condolences to her family.

I heard about this sad news just now. I worked with Raymonde for many many years at the Lycee Francais de New York. She was a very sweet and kind person. She will be very much missed.
Rest in peace Raymonde!

J'ai appris ce matin que Raymonde est décédée. Je travaillais au Lycée Français de New York quand elle y était. Quand elle a appris que j'allais me marier en 2001 elle m'a offerte sa robe de mariée. Un grand coeur, une belle personne que je n'oublierai jamais. Reposez en paix Raymonde, je sais que vous avez retrouvée votre famille au paradis.

She was a wonderful educator of course and a great listener to any one , students, teachers, and parents at the LFNY.
She will be dearly missed .

I am deeply sorry to hear about Raymonde´s passing. I met her at the Lycée Français in 1990. This picture was taken in 1994 at my bridal shower in Manhattan. I keep very good memories of Raymonde. She was always kind and a very good listener. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.
