Raynard Lee Howe, Jr., age 27, of Big Bend, SD, entered the Spirit World on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Big Bend, SD.
Wake Services will be at 7 PM, CT on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Big Bend Community Center.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM, CT on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Big Bend Community Center.
Raynard Lee Howe Jr. made his journey to the spirit world on June 16th, 2024, at his home in Pierre, SD at the age of 27. Raynard was born January 29, 1997, to Lora Lee (Abraham) Howe and Raynard Howe Sr. at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND. He was raised in Big Bend, SD. Raynard begins his education at Crow Creek Head Start and at Crow Creek Tribal School where he graduated in 2017. In 7th grade, he started playing high school football as he had the most hard-hitting skills, he liked being on the field with his brothers and cousins. He continued his education at United Tribes Technical College in automative technology.
He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and shooting guns with his brother Michael and family. In his spare time, he liked playing his Xbox or throwing down in the kitchen cooking. He loved get-together by the river to celebrate special occasions His favorite football team was Washington Redskins before they changed, and he liked the color red. He always had a smile and forgiving words to share. Raynard had such a sense of humor.
In 2019, Raynard moved to Pierre, SD with his high school sweetheart Precious Saldana- Barba, where he entered the workforce in various jobs: Global Harvest, Taco John's, G&N Construction to name a few.
Raynard and Precious welcomed their baby boy Jackson Ray Howe into the world on June 23, 2022. Where his recent life revolved around him. Raynard was the most loving father; Jackson was his whole world. Jackson is a blessing to our family, and we are thankful to still have that little piece of Raynard near us.
Raynard Lee Howe Jr. is survived by his girlfriend Precious and their son Jackson, his parents Raynard Sr. and Lora Lee Howe, his brothers Dakota, Michael (Teah SL), Daniel, Oscar (DeSenya), and UnSpesni, his sister Lauryn. Aunts Donna (Alton) Summers, Bernadette Brown, Jolene (Duane T) White Eagle, Susie (Joe TB) White Eagle, Annette (Frank) White Eagle, Merline (Mixay) Halasna, Claudia Eagle Boy, Janice Adrian, Candace Howe, Clarice Jewett, Marcie Ashley, Uncles Earl White Eagle and Charles Howe. His nephews John, George, Teagan, Orean (Baby O), and his niece Michaela and Arianna (Sissy).
Raynard was loved by numerous cousins, who were also like siblings to him including Carmen Eagle Boy, Emerald Plenty Chief, Innocent Yellow Robe, Serenity Yellow Robe, and mostly his cousin Ambrose Eagle Boy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John Sr. and Cynthia Howe, Grandma Emmarine Eagle Boy, aunties Ethel Left Hand Bull, Leatrice Seaboy, uncles John Howe Jr., Verle White Eagle, Merle White Eagle, Isadore Eagle Boy, Cousin Erin Plenty Chief, nephew Evrik Plenty Chief.
Raynard is a descent of Chief Bone Necklace, his great, great, great, great grandfather.
Pall Bearers will be Dakota Abraham, MIchael Howe, Daniel Howe, Oscar Howe, Ambrose Eagle Boy, Innoncent Yellow Robe, Unspesni Howe, Lauryn Howe.
Honorary Bearers Class of 2017, Joseph Ashley, Dontaye Head, Kenneth Jewett III "Goo", Kiantas McNeal "Ki", Allen Bull Bear Jr., and all his family and friends.
