Rearick Terry R

Terry R. Rearick, age 82 of Plum, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Born May 9, 1943 in Verona, he was the son of the late Reed O. and Hazel M. (Roup) Rearick. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Rose M. (Mozina) Rearick; loving children, Chuck Rearick (Bryan Gardiner) and Amy Rearick (fiancé Bob Beck); and his sister, Bonny (the late Vince) Welch.

From a young age, Terry showed an exceptional knack for mechanics and a deep-rooted sense of duty. His commitment to his country was evident through his honorable service in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, where he excelled as an aircraft mechanic. These experiences honed his skills and deepened his appreciation for precision and excellence.

After his military service, Terry transitioned to civilian life and began working as a welder alongside his father in Blawnox. His talents flourished further at R. Munroe & Sons, where he spent the remainder of his career mastering the art of steel fabrication welding. His colleagues remember him not just for his technical expertise, but for his mentorship and unwavering camaraderie.

An ardent car enthusiast, Terry loved nothing more than tinkering with a motor, immersing himself in the melody of the engine's hum. His reputation as a 'jack of all trades' was well-earned; from motorcycles to go-carts to lawn mowers, if it had a motor, Terry could fix it. His dexterity and problem-solving abilities often left his loved ones in awe.

Terry found as much solace in his faith as he did in his work, serving as a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church. It was a pillar of strength and community for him throughout his life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church - Holy Family Parish, 444 Holy Family Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15239, date and time to be announced. (Everyone please meet at church). Burial with military honors will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
