Reba Anderson Obituary
Reba B. Anderson, age 87, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Furnie Bell and the late Christine Bell Chavis. She worked with M.H. Smith Accounting in Myrtle Beach for 13 years before getting started in the motel business in the 1970's. Mrs. Anderson then owned and operated the Conway Motor Inn for many years. She was also the owner of Saddlebrook Mobile Home Park in Conway. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Langston Baptist Church and will be most remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James H. "Buddy" Anderson, Jr. and one daughter, Tammy A. Anderson.
Survivors include one son, James H. Anderson, III of Conway; one daughter, Sheila Anderson (Daryl) of Conway; two grandchildren, James H. Anderson, IV of Chicago, IL and Kristyn Deanna Anderson of Phoenix, AZ; her special friend, Dave Bolling of Conway; one sister, Hazel Bell of Conway; her step-father, Sonny Chavis of Conway; and her cousins, Rose Blackmon, Johnny Bell, Bonnie Campbell, Clark Stephens, and Brad Stephens.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Brandon Blair and Rev. Bruce Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
